Chase No Face: A Cool Real Time Kinect Hack Music Video

Brooklyn based artist BELL has made an interesting video out of a Kinect hack for her song Chase No Face. All the light effects that you see mapped across her face were shot in real time with a laptop and LED projector. None of the effects were done in post production.

They created the hack using FaceTracker code by Jason Saragih. FaceTracker is a C/C++ API for real time generic non-rigid face alignment and tracking.

The visuals were created by Zach Lieberman, Francisco Zamorano, Andy Wallace and Michelle Calabro.

And if you’re curious how they did it, go behind the scenes and watch the making of…
