Could Tokyo Be Evacuated? Fukushima 6 Months After

Is there a crisis in Japan that’s being ignored? Experts are saying that the radiation levels from the Fukushima nuclear disasters are exceeding that of the 1986 Chernobyl incident which is widely known to have caused massive destructive effecs to human health including widespread cancer deaths, genetic mutations, birth defects and irreversible damage to the environment.

Should Tokyo, a capital of 35 million be evacuated for the safety of its residents?

At least one billion becquerels a day of radiation continue to leak from Japan’s Fukushima nuclear plant after the March earthquake and tsunami.

Experts say that the total amount of radiation leaked will exceed amounts released from Chernobyl, making Fukushima the worst nuclear disaster in history.
