Resident Advisor recently opened up the polls for 3 days and surveyed the landscape for the current top DJ’s on the scene for 2014. Being that RA is a Berlin based music magazine and platform, the list is not surprisingly heavily infused with the techno masters and a bit on the Eurocentric side of things but without a doubt, acknowledges some great DJ’s.

Dance and electronic music magazine Resident Advisor has just released its Top 100 DJ’s of 2013 list. The Berlin based outlet took a poll for this so their listing was decided by their registered readers, fans of techno, house, bass and underground music. Which btw is a refreshing departure from music journo compiled DJ lists and a nod to the independent electronic community.

In this third episode of Resident Advisor’s Real Scenes series they sit down with some of the leaders of Berlin’s club and techno world to discuss how the music scene has developed and transformed in the years following the fall of the Berlin Wall.
If you’ve spent some time in Berlin, you know the city has one of the best nightlife scenes going and they are a great example of how a vibrant club scene can enrich the local music music industry and culture of a city in general. It would be great to see more cities around the world have this willingness to experiment and develop great experiences for club-goers and the music communities at large.
